About KitDone

Your personal assistant for every shoot

KitDone is your personal photography assistant. It keeps your gear and jobs organized, helps you prepare what you need, and lets you check that your gear is back when the work is done.

It saves your shoot dates and times, reminds you when you need it to, and keeps your location coordinates and project notes together, so your job details are there when you need them.

Every job has a lot to keep track of

Preparing for a shoot starts before you arrive on location. You plan your day around a set time, choose the gear the work calls for, and note details you’ll need during the shoot. As you take on more jobs, you need to keep track of all of this together.

KitDone keeps each job’s date, time, location, notes, and assigned gear in one place. Refer to them as you prepare, check the details on location, then review what you brought when the shoot is over.

Add your gear once. Choose what you need for each job.

Start by adding your equipment to My Gear when you set up the app. Use the catalog to choose the brand and model, or use Manual Entry for anything you can’t find. Your list is saved for every new job, so you can select the gear and quantities you need without entering them again.

If you regularly use the same items together, save them as a Kit and add them to future jobs all at once. An event photography kit or a product photography kit, for example, saves you selecting each item again.

If you have a lot of gear or an upcoming job leaves little time to add it all, start with what you need for that job. Build the rest of your list as you take on more work. Every item you add stays saved for future use, so you can complete your list at your own pace.

Your gear list stays available even on locations with poor reception or no connection at all. KitDone’s core features work offline, so you can check each item as you pack up and make sure everything you brought is coming back with you before you leave.

From getting ready to getting your gear back

Your needs change from one job to the next. KitDone helps you plan the gear and quantities you need and shows conflicts when the same gear is assigned to multiple jobs. You can then prioritize what’s needed for the next job before you head out.

As you prepare, check each item and mark what’s ready. Use Save Progress to continue later. After the shoot, return to the same list as you pack up and check that your gear is back before closing the job.

More room to focus on your photography

On a shoot, you already have enough to think about: light, composition, timing, communication. KitDone keeps your job details in one place, from the gear you need to the date, time, location, and notes. It reminds you when your job is coming up and helps you check your gear before and after the shoot, so you can give your work more attention.
